I'd agree.
I'd bring a lighter, a can of gasoline, rope, a fillable pump spray-can and some steak/lamb/chicken.
While i'm at it...
a fridge
my computer
my tv/stereo system/ddr mats
some knives (katana, tigershark, chopping blades, axe, kunai)
rope is a pretty good idea, but not that flimsy fiberous rope, we're talking about some piano-fishing wire that can hold three elephants, support an elevator filled with fat people, and can be used in the construction of a weapon of ultimate power.
It may be useful to garot some of the competition...
Bunny traps = NO.

*sigh*
I suppose I'll have to change it to two other people who have a decent attention span, and a katana (the compsci.ca cutting tool of choice) just because I don't trust two other people on my island.
Yeah, I deleted those off-topic posts. |

Why not make it...
- a katana with a decent attention span...
- another person who you can compete with but never lose to or defeat who happens to defecate food and eat your feces
- a mall with a ninja training centre in it |

Quote: i whould bring a jet to get me back home, lol. And since i have 2 more things, why not a boat as back up and a laptop with satile net conection so i can e-mail for help, lol.
no offense to the original poster
Tries to go into the jet to go home. but remembered that I do not have jet pilot training so i have no idea how to fly a jet.
Tries to go into the boat to go home. But thought about a couple of things 1) the motor boat runs out of oil 2) the sail boat that either got eaten by a tsunami or the I died of hunger after three days or simply got lost
so email is my last resort

Is there anyway to access a GPS system from your computer via the internet? GPS emulator? If so then the guy bugzpodder is talking about could easily find his exact location. |

why dont you try to find your exact location right now, Neo? and then email the police department, and see if they would send help base on an email. |

Nobody said he had to email the police department. What if he emailed his mom and she got a search party to go out looking for him? |

you still need to know where you are without a GPS, which is pretty difficult a task. |

... but somehow, for (history-10) years, we got along fine without it.
So, it can't really be *essential*
