the GUI text box crashes whenever a key is pressed, anyone know how to get around that?
o and how do you include the GUI module when u make stand alone programs?

uh oh, asok's gonna lock this one up purty soon. U should check out some of those tutorials to see if they have nethign on it

that used to happen to me too because it was like the second textbox that i used...if you are having the same trouble as i did(the second textbox didn't work) just tell me and i'll tell u how to fix it...
btw there's nothing about this in tutorials so stop provoking ASOK to lock forums THAT MANIAC!!!! jk =Þ
and i dont think u need to do anything about the module to make a stand alone program just do it as u usually do =/

I'm trying to make an instant messenging program so i need the textbox and textfiels on at the same time, pain in the @SS...

if u use them both in the same program then hit the keyboard, it crashes

ooops Embarassed hehe i have never tried a text box with a GUI text box but i have used my own Custom GUI and it works as good as the real gui version... i have sent the code for my custom textfield in Custom created GUI in turing submittions if anyone's interested!!
