If you need any help with Turing or have any questions about Turing plz post them here. It is best if you also post as much as you can about your problem like your code, algorithms, ect. Also plz don't post asking people to do your schoolwork for you, we will help but we will not do your projects for you.
Also you can probly find the awser to alot of comanen questions by using the nice search fuction on this site or by looking in the tutorials section. And as all ways plz keep the spam in the [Off Topic] fourm
If you have a question, there's a good chance the answer can be found in one of our many tutorials. For links to the most common and best tutorials, check out the Turing Walkthrough.
Thuged_Out_G has also made a list of tutorials, though they are in no particular order and may be outdated.

Please use these sources, as well as the Search, before posting your question.
If you can't find the answer you need in [Turing Tutorials], [Turing Source Code], or by searching, please post your question. Be sure to wrap your code in [ code][ /code] or [ syntax="turing"][ /syntax] tags.
Thank you. |

If you have a question PLEASE check the tutorial section first, it is very annoying to have to link the tutorial for you.
The tutorial section can be found here: http://www.compsci.ca/v2/viewforum.php?f=3
Thank you,

Instead of clogging down the forum with stickies, I'll just post here.
Lately, alot of people are asking for a copy of Turing. Please do not ask us where to download Turing. It is illegible to distribute Turing without the license. So even if you ask, we'll still not be able to give you a link, because we rather like a law-suit free compsci.ca (Blame Holtsoft) |

I'm not sure what forum to put this message but...
I'm suggesting that you make a "Interesting Programs" forum. So people can paste helpful and interesting programs that THEY have created.
It's just a thought...

Ehh... [Turing Applications] [Turing Source Code]
The first contains hundreds of executables created in Turing and the second the source code to even more programs created in Turing over the years. I can't imagine what else you might mean by "Interesting Programs". Maybe you think that those programs aren't created by the poster? Hence the "THEY"? |

we do have [Turing Source Code] and [Turing Applications]
besides - who would decide if a given program is interesting or not? |
Tony's programming blog. DWITE - a programming contest. |

the best you could probably do is look in turing's built-in documentation under the GUI section. |

Using Turing's built-in GUI can be very tough considering no one does, it has poor documentation, and it is slow. All the help you are going to get with drop down menus is by pressing F10. Make your own if you want a good GUI in Turing. Otherwise, wait until you get to a language like Java where the GUIs have tons of documentation and plenty of resources where you can get help. |
