Woot! That's a damn good first program! Good job on finishing it! It works flawlessly. As time goes on, how does it get harder? Is it just more boulders or what?

Great graphics. I would suggest you have the flame animated. Everytime you draw it you draw on of two pictures and then it looks like its animated.? Just an idea. I like!

Top Score: 26 Sad

wooho. lol alrite thx. i tried making the levels harder using a counter of some sort but it did not work very well :S. i'm gonna try to look into it more to c if i can figure it out. and tomorow i'll try to do the flame animating thing.

the problem is i'm a real nooby in turing and its hard to even figure out where to place the if statements in a code Sad

I wish I could actually play this game. Everything kinda just flys past and I die before I can do anything. But from what I can see here are some things that may make it better. (note... only suggestions)

- Instead of using a 3.48MB background file that is completely black, try using Draw.FillBox or something similar
- Slow the game down so people on faster computers can play as well. (Framerates may help with this)
- Your fonts are messed up when it displays the score (elegible)
- Definately make an explosion animation (adds to it so much)
- Maybe make the boulders rotate as they come towards you
- different sizes of boulders are always a good idea
- different speeds for boulders
- low level = low speed and high level = high speed
- maybe have stars moving in the background for effect
- Have a general flying animation (like thrusters or something)
- Maybe tell people how to play (controls) or can you not shoot?
- If you can't shoot already, then allow shooting or the boulders
- Different powerups popup after either destroying boulders or after a certain amount of time. (ex: burst fire, shield, sonic boom (destroys all on screen boulders), etc.)
-Sounds(explosion/game over, powerup aquired, shooting, etc.) possibly background music ( nothing annoying tho!, lol)

Ya I know... alot of suggestions... I'm sorry, that's all it seems I'm good for anymore.

Good Luck, and for the most part (not being able to play here!) good job Smile

Ya I've been programming in Turing alot more because it's easy Smile and I'm working on a larger project in C# and I'm doing the setup thru here as a demo for my other partners in the project. I'd love to be moderator, but I believe Asian already is, but ya who knows maybe if enough of you guys vote for me I might become a turing mod Smile Smile

Lol Asian Sensation is already the turing mod, although his coloring makes it look like "young mod" to me. Although delta, you didn't get into flash mod by voting did u ? Laughing Wink
