MacOS Download Turing issues (mostly out of date)

What is the problem you are having?
Hello. My recent school assignments for ICS have required me to use Turing, and my teacher had provided a download file for Turing on Mac devices. The application does not open, and I think that the application version is a little outdated. I am not sure what to do.

Describe what you have tried to solve this problem
I've tried using Wineskin, uninstalling and reinstalling etc. Worst case I'll use one of my old Windows laptops.
