What is it you are trying to achieve?
Trying to find out if USB to Parallel port adapter will work on Turing programs for Parallel Get and Parallel Put

What is the problem you are having?
We all know the Parallel Put and Parallel Get functions in Turing which allow your computer to communicate with external devices or peripherals. The only problem is that my computer does not have any Parallel ports. I have seen some USB to Parallel port adapters on deal extreme and other sites but many people say that it does not work for some languages which require a parallel port for output and input. The question is if anyone has any experience with if adapters from USB to Parallel port working with Turing. I am not too willing to shell out 10 bucks just t0 find out I have bought a very expensive meter of wiring! Also, would I need any special softwares to get it working or is it just plug in and tell my Turing program the port to use?

Thanks,
Irobots
