how do i compare strings alphabetically...like i ask a user their last name and if their last names begin with letter a to u they are placed in class 1 and if their last names begin with letter v to z, they are placed in class 2?
need help ASAP...thanx....

turing is a joke lil boy... and nick, you can compare whole strings at a time
for example
code:
if "Andy">"Nick" then
put "haha"
end if
%haha gets outputted

lol haha oh god I was having a bad day until I read this one. Dude leave the class as of Monday... if you are tired of problem solving well there's no point in staying as compsci is all about problem solving... hell life is about problem solving!

errrr...u ppl are making me angry...im a "SHE"....ughhhh!!! im now in comsci...im taking computer engineering...well...ive changed my mind...i think it's a good opportunity for me to learn to face these challenges ...ughhhh...
