One of my friends laptop crashed suddenly and the kill screen appeared. We restarted the laptop a couple of time and it didn't work out, the kill screen still there. We also tried to log in the computer using safe mode but it didn't work out. I was wondering if anyone can help ? |

Define "kill screen" and explain what sort of laptop your friend has (Manufacturer, OS, hardware config, etc.) |

well, there's a million things it could be, so we can't really help you without seeing it, I recommend taking it in to tech support at Staples, they know what they're doing. |

Do you have a windows install disk?
If you do, then boot it up. There should be an option to "repair install" that should help you out.
Also there is sometimes a hidden partition on the hdd that has a repair mode. (Don't know if dell does this or not) |
