hard is really up to you what it is no?
beside the cliche answer i have more for you
a) instead of asking over and over how hard it would be
idk heres a thought use your head and think what all you need for the game
on your own that is called think for oneself try it sometime
and then figure out if it is something you can do in your time period
simply because anything you can get done with the right amount of time

THEN if you have question on what you are missing we can help

It is as hard as you make it be.

Design the code, manipulate it, enhance it, or if you questions post the code and we can assist, not do for you.

just a quick question to make the game 'escape' or something close it with levels, would 5 levels be good or a bit too short?

Depends on the difficulty to have the game set to, five can be too much depending on how long one level takes, and it can be too little if it is far to easy to beat.

Why don't you start off an make it ... not much point in asking if it'll be hard to make. It depends on how you make it, and how much effort you put into it.
