Post subject: Making Borders, and border detection.
High, Im trying to make a game similar to the scary maze game found here.
www.scaryforkids.com/scary-maze/
I draw lines to make my borders, and I made each number a variable(int) and i want to make it exit when it hits that line and goes back to start. Right now my border is like this:
code:
colourback (0)
drawline (200a, 200a, 200a, 200a, 7)
drawline (200a, 200a, 200a, 350a, 7)
drawline (200a, 390a, 0a, 390a,7)
drawline (200a, 350a, 0a, 350a,7)
drawline (200a, 200a, 200a, y2b, 7)
drawline (100a, 230a, 600a, 200a, 7)
drawline (230a, 20a, 670a, 230a, 7)
drawline (638a, 230a, 638a, y130a, 7)
drawline (600a, 200a, 600a, y35a, 7)
drawline (600a, 20a, 600a, y40a,7)
drawline (600a, 20a, 638a, y20a, 7)
drawline (638a, 20a, 638a, y150a, 7)
And when I want it to exit when it hits a certain line but I don't know how.
The best that I have come up with is make it exit at a certain y value, but that just exits when i pass that value.
Im drawing blanks and im not that experienced.
Please help, or send me a link to a tutorial.
