hi im trying out a new 2d rpg game
but im having trouble with alot of it
first of all the movement and the actual style
is it easier to have it move using Input.Key Down
or getch stuff
and can u have it kinda big
how much can turing handle

I believe there is an excellent tutorial in the tutorial section about making a RPG in turing, it's very very good, I think azndragon made it?

anyways, always use Input.KeyDown, it is by far superior than getch in all ways(well, maybe except for getting only one character...)

turing can handle a pretty big RPG engine I believe, dan had QFTB, and I believe it was huge, so don't worry about the size.

ye...and that one wuz a while back too...besides the few bugs that always screwed up when i played

krishon, what happened to your RPG game? Did you finish it? Upload it if you did, I want to see the finished game.

Input.KeyDown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

make sure to use array char of boolean too

um...its in like the last page of the turing submittions...somewhere back there...its purty crappy compared to wut u guys do now...
