I have made a pong program for my final assignement but for some reason sometimes the paddles get "stuck". i attached it and any help would be appreciated.
Note: its not completely done yet
Edit:oops got some floopy disk problems right now

You mean stuck on the edges of the screen? I had the same problem. It's because the paddle can still move left when its touching the left side. Just disable the ability to keep moving, that solves it.

oh and when you're setting the boundrys, you probably had =maxx or =0, you should instead have >=maxx and<=0

no thats not the problem. the ball itself is perfectly ok its just that somethimes the paddles work and other times they don't. try downloading it and see for yourself.

i know, the paddle thing, when you set the boundrys, like ur paddle is not supposed to go off the screen rite?

the paddle stays on the screen alrite its just that sometimes one works and the other doesn't.
