can someone please tell me how to use math distance in regards to AI

Please elaborate upon your request. Math.Distance() works using Pythagorus' theorem. What do you mean "in regards to AI"? AI could mean a lot of things in a lot of situations.

Maybe calculating where the enemy (you) is and then following it. If the computer is x units away from you then it fires??

You have to be more specific for your situation.
