im doing a "madden" sort of game. it will take me 1000 hours just to let the players and AI to execute the plays. Im using Pic.Draw to move them, but is there an easier way?

don't know just wondering. I don't there's any other way to move a picuture other then pic.draw unless u draw another football guy with drawdot but it sounds like you've already but to much effort in already. sorry Sad

What's wrong wit Pic.Draw? It's always been really useful for me.

Yes, Pic.ScreenLoad is easier, in that it takes less lines. But it's slow. Stick with Pic.Draw. (You'll probably want to be using picMerge, if you aren't already.)

it will probably take you less time, to learn java/c++/flash, then make a short program... then to use turing and make a sports game with all the animations. If you really insist on doing it.. good luck Smile

U could try learning how to use sprites. That may help in ur animations.

question: are u planning on making an overhead view... with just a filled in circle... not really a detailed picture...?? if you're just planning on making a filled in circle move around and stuff... you shouldn't worry too much about animations

If u use sprites, then even if u have complex pictures, they won't erase the background.

What a waste of time, if your animations are anything spiffy turing will just lag and the game will be pretty much unplayable o.o;

because of that, i suggest overhead view with dots (aka like filled in ovals that are different colours like markers) and they move. and the ball is indicated with some sort of square Razz theres a limit to turing Razz thats why i don't suggest this for turing.
