How fast is a 1270 kbps download and 320 kbps upload as in talking about ADSL?? Can ADSL go any faster then 1270 kbps?? What is the best router for home use at http://www.cisco.com/ ??

Why don't you just do a little research, like on google. ISP speed rankings or w/e.

OC192 is right up there for the fastest.

Japan, Korea, and some other places in that area have fiber optics as the main internet, meaning that internet there starts at about 10mbps, and goes up to 100mbps (for costs comparable to the prices that we pay here for our 1.5 - 10mbps connections).

All is not lost to our little yellow friends, however, as cogeco is currently laying down fiber optics cables and we should see fiber optic internet start to come out by Q2 next year.

How much do you guys pay for your internet connection? When do you think cable internet will drop to $10/month. I already see some that are 24.99 per month.
