Arrays Not To Sure

i am not to sure on arrays like how to use them with lists

Ex.
put "" : 14, "Electronics"
put "" : 14, "*************"
put ""
put ""
put "" : 14, "Xbox"
put "" : 14, "1.games"
put "" : 14, "2.acessories"

put ""
put "" : 14, "PS2"
put "" : 14, "3.games"
put "" : 14, "4.accesories"

how is it that the code is aranged
and i want the 1,2,3,4 to have a price value so that when 1,2 and 4 r selected it adds them up and adds the tax

I have also read the turtorial and am compleately lost
