Well, here's what we're currently doing in school, the paddleball thingy, for anyone new to Turing (like me) you can learn from this simple code of paddleball.t, like how to use Input.KeyDown. The other one, paddleball2.t has a slight change, as the movement is using getch and hasch, its somewhat more exciting, since it keeps moving in one direction if you don't press anything. Thats what the teacher tells to do.

ya thats pretty good. i like paddelball2 it's a lot harder. also what school do you go to. i wish we did stuff like that at my school we just do a business approach to programming. we don't even learn GUI or input.keydown or anything even useful.

nah wasn't paying attention to shantz at all... maybe I'd have learned something if I did... the if statements are for the ball not to pass thru the edge of the paddle, until I learn the complicated equation that allows me to check it more thoroughly
PS. Don't spam my thread
PPS. Turing GUI isn't useful

i got 14000 points cuz i found a bug, which made the ball trap on the paddle, and just kept bouncing on the paddle like crazy
lolz

its not a bug, its a feature, a cheat feature. Where i wanted to see if I could get the paddle to go negative length, and grow with each level lol.
