I am trying to run multiple Turing files at once.

I cannot run multiple Turing windows at once (For example: I am running a turing file called example.t and when I try to run lets say, example_2.t, nothing happens)

I have tried going through windows 8 settings, all Turing settings, everything I could possibly do and nothing works.

I can run multiple files/windows to this day on windows 7, but I cannot on windows 8. This is with Turing 4.1.1

What can I do to fix this? Please, if you can avoid workarounds I would greatly prefer an actual fix/solution.

Are you trying to edit two separate files at once, or are you trying to run to separate Turing programs at once?

For the former simply disable "Beginner mode" in File -> Preferences.

For the latter I'm not sure if this is possible without separate Turing installations.

I have disabled beginner mode. I have tried all the settings. Nothing works. And yes, I am trying to edit two files at once.

Alright, I have figured it out. What I did was open Turing, click file, preferences, and reset ".t" file association button. You might need to try different combos between these buttons (button button then top button or just button button or just top button or top button then bottom button)
