When i generate a stand-alone program (exe) and go to run the program, i get a massage saying :

bad object file header in "filename.exe". (2)[/b]

what does that mean and why am i getting this. what can i do to fix it?

K, i wnet there and there was nothing on the error. I am using 4.1 on windows 7, but i dont think its win 7 that is the problem cause i have comiled programs before without the error. so ya

Hmm, I did used to get errors like that before when I tried changing the name when compiling (a different name than what it's currently saved as). I'd have to change the name of the EXE manually after compiled.

not sure if that's causing your problems.

Sorry for the mix up, it's just 99% of people with that error are using 4.1.1a, and unaware of that bug.

Anyway, make sure you are in administrator mode, and if thats not it try re-downloading (maybe it is version 4.1.1a and you don't realize it?).

Maybe UAC is blocking it (I wouldn't know, I disabled it immediately upon installing windows 7)?
