I had this question for turing and im not sure how to solve it.
A homeowner takes out a mortagage for $120,000 at 10 3/4% per year. at the end of each year an amount of $24,000 is paid. Write a program to show how the mortagage is paid off, year by year, until nothing is owing.

And we need to display the calculations year by year. How do you solve this?

Well, you need to write a program to calculate the deduction to the total assuming that yearly amount is paid. Keep in mind the interest--this is 'deducted' from your payments. Continue this until the amount is <$0
