I made this game after I saw AsianSensation's Ultimate Mario game. It's a two player shooter, with each player having their own screen to look at and a minimap in the middle of the screen. The computer I make this on has a widescreen monitor, so if you're playing it on a standard width monitor the minimap might have to be moved a little. The controls are ...

Player 1
Turn left/right - A/D keys
Move forward - W key
Move backwards - S key
Shoot - H key
Switch weapon - E key
Reload - R key
Pick up a weapon off the ground - Space key + E key

Player 2
Turn left/right - Left/right arrow keys keys
Move forward - up arrow key
Move backwards - down arrow key
Shoot - numpad 1 key
Switch weapon - numpad 2 key
Reload - numpad 3 key
Pick up a weapon off the ground - numpad 0 key + numpad 2 key

Any advice or recommended changes are welcome.

This is rather imperisvie.

I did not have a chance to look at the code to much but the game play was not too bad. The bigest issue i have is the players move to fast on my computer. It also seemed very easy to kill some one, just taking one or two shots but i guse this is realstic.

I realy liked how the bullets showed up on the minimap and there impacts and having a selection of weaponds was also nice.

I might layout the keys a bit diffrent but it's hard to make a good layout for four hands.

It would be very intresting if you could make it have online play (even if it was just over the local network).

+bits and karma

Edit: Also more maps and/or a map editor would be cool.

Thanks for the complements.

The players moving too fast can be solved by just changing the delay in the program, and same with the controls.

It would be awsome if there was online play, but I have no idea how to set that up, especially in Turing.

The map editor is also a pretty good idea, and I might work on it if I can find the time.

for online, look into the .NET commands for Turing, ShadowDan wrote a good tutorial for them, it's in the Turing Walkthrough

If it is moving at diffrent speeds on diffrent computers you may want to check out this tutorial on limiting FPS in games: http://compsci.ca/v3/viewtopic.php?t=7393

That is VERY VERY impressive.
+50 bits (I would give more but I'm poor)

pretty impressive. However, it's done in turing, so...

go and learn OpenGL.

My friend was holding down the fire button, it totally lags the program. Other than that, this is all epicness.
