UW unofficial tour (+compsci meetup) 2009

Hey guys, it's March again. Time for another annual UW meetup.

The tentative plan is to host it on the same day as March Break Open House, so Tuesday, March 17th. UW is hosting a bunch of official events. I want to supplement that with our own private campus/rez tour + hang out with you guys over some wings. Last few years were super fun, and it was great to meet you guys in person.

I've got a 1:00~2:30 lecture that I want to attend, but otherwise anything goes.

For anyone interested in checking out UW before accepting their offer of admission; or simply wants to meet up with your fellow forum members -- lets hear what kind of schedule works best. I'm looking to finalize the time/date for this event.

The event is scheduled to start Saturday, March 21st at 12:00 noon, in front of Timmy's at SLC.

EDIT : Wait, did you say March 17th? I am afraid that day is no good, as we have the AIME (American Invitational Math Examination) on that day . Could you change the date? Or I'll try and make sure that we write the AIME in the morning.

I'm free all day. Anytime time after 9:00 is fine. We need to wear ridiculous hats though. It was lots of fun last year

I happen to have a full day of lectures and an assignment to hand in that afternoon, so most likely I won't be coming.

EDIT: oh dear, I'm in the Dominican that day... a rescheduling would be very helpful now

AIME can be written at any time (as long as we have a supervisor from our school with the question papers)

I'll have to organize something for that...well, even if I do manage to set it up at sometime in the morning, it atill looks like we might have to reschedule it anyway (seeing as [Gandalf] and saltpro15 can't make it)

if you guys want an alternate date, you should suggest something, so that we can agree on something.

actually 17th is my last day I would like a day off though, 19th or 20th would be better for me

Well, I'm not back till the 20th, so any time after that should be fine.

Saltpro, I'm Andy Heller, and I'm staying in the Barcelo or Bavaro or something or other (not sure exactly). If you're in a hotel anywhere nearby, maybe we could arrange our own meetup? I'm going with my family so I'll be pretty much bored.
