|
|
Well hi everyone!
I wanna create a program that can tell me when Easter will happen.
Like lets say, I put the year in & then it will give me the month and the day of Easter in that year.
I got an idea how to do it, but it always seem to fail.
I've done harder things than this before but this just seems to mess me up alot
So if anyone can help me out on this, I'd appreciate it a lot!
How would I made this work?
Thanks in advance for the replies to come!

Quote: Easter is observed by the churches of the West on the first Sunday following the full moon that occurs on or following the spring equinox (March 21). Easter is a "movable" feast which can occur as early as March 22 or as late as April 25.
So pretty much, you will need to figure out the moon phases first. They may be a site out there that has the information.

Have you got the Turing reference manual or the Holtsoft CE manual? Or a different one?

I saw once on TV that this guy ("The Human Calculator") was able to figure out every year that Easter fell on a wednesday between 19XX and 20XX in seconds, using only his brain.
Sure, that was a little off topic, but also a little on topic, and interesting to boot!

We did the history of computers for the first half of the semester in that class. Looking back sure it was a good thing to learn (history is always awesome to learn) but hoooooooooly f*** was it boring haha.

couldn't your teacher give you easy ones? like saying what day of the week the first day of the year.
