When someone solves your question, mark it as solved. It's a common courtesy. People don't want to browse through a million unsolved questions to find the one they are trying to post in. Thanks a lot.

Do you mean put a tag into the subject? WE can't do that. We'll just have to type it into a post, but then people will still have to go through all the questions.

No, he means the check-mark that shows up on the list-of-topics page. All the way on the right side.

I think this feature should simply be taken out -- it's rarely used.

Yep. Tony's right. The check merk on the side. It will mark if the author has already found an answer to his questions.
