Hello all,

I have a very annoying problem with my turing that started a few days ago. Whenever I press save, in any form, my Turing program quits on me. Whatever code I have, it exits by itself. The only time it doesn't, is if I don't have anything, then it says there's no text to save.

Right now, I have to use notepad to save my programs and paste them into Turing whenever I want to run them.

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, deleting all my turing settings(.ini files) on my computer, a lil help, please? Thanks!

You are going to have to post more information. Does an error come up when you save? Are you sure you aren't pressing the wrong button? Have you changed anything on your computer recently?

Can you post us the code you have? Are you sure all lines are less than 255 characters?

Right now, there isn't enough information for us to fully help you.

More info? Sure.. Just as long as the problem gets solved.

It just quits, no notification whatsoever.

I am not pressing the wrong button, I don't think it's possible for me to do that 4 days in a row, and also I've tried normal save, save as, and save selection, plus the button on the menu bar. I thought that "in any form" would mean that, but here I am clarify that.

I did not do anything significiant on my computer latelye

I can not save -anything- at all. Even "ABC" doesn't work.

Thanks for any help that someone could give me.

Just spit balling here, but it may have something to do with the registry on your system (if turing even uses the registry). I personally have not encountered this but a friend did and I have no clue how to help him.

Try going in file->preferences and playing around there.

Nope, nothing works, searched the registry for holtsoft and turing. Nothing useful, just a bunch of things associating the .t, .tu, and .tur files, and a list of programs to open such files.

Changed all the settings in the preferences around a bit, then back to defaults.

Srry guys, anyone else could help me? I'll contribute to the forum on other things soon, sick right now, but I see a lot of simple questions that could be answered.
