Buttons - i need help plz

Ok so im just starting to learn about Gui and stuff and i was wondering if anyone could teach me how to make a button for a game. You know the buttons that flash and say "enter" and then they go to the next screen and its like new game exc. or even if the user clicked on the screen and it went....lol i just need alot of help.
