well, i know the code could definitely be improved and be more efficient and all that, but right now i just need it to work.
The main problems are that when the enemy resets after you have killed them all, it keeps randomly appearing. Second, there is an array subscript out of range error, but i don't know why that is happening, i made the arrays properly.

Anyway, just check it out for yourself. It is an RTS. the light blue dot is your builder, dark blue dot is archer, red dot is enemy, big blue box is barracks to train units. You can select units by clicking on them and once they are selected, you can right click to move them.

if you guys know what the problem is, plz tell me because i have no clue.

Hey shooby...

um. Well... I didn't get the problems that you detailed. I got only one runtime ... more of an imbalence, really, but I made 2 warriors, and they killed the entire enemy squad. as for an array out of range... tell me... when are you getting it? Maybe you created too many guys?

aside from bugs, it's a great concept... It was fun for a while.

I don't know how advanced a coder you are, but if you seriously want to do an RPG that is efficent and easy to do, use classes and objects.

HUH??

don't ask me... ask cervantes... as a matter of fact, he's written 3 Tutorials on the subject. I highly recommed (if you are interested and you have some experience) you check them out.
