I first have to ask why you're playing the music from the floppy. I understand that you're storing your Turing program on the floppy to work on it from home and from school etc., but do you really need to play the music while you're testing it? While you're developing the program, you could probably do without the music. Unless this is DDR, it's not like the music will affect anything else. So just comment out the "fork my_play_music_process" line.

If you need the music, you could put it on the same location on both your computers (school and home) and directly load it from there, rather than loading it from the floppy.

If you must make a loading bar, I don't think you can make one for loading a single audio file. If you had lots, sure: a loading bar would be easy. But for this, the only way you could do it is if you know approximately how long it takes to load then use that and Time.Elapsed to make your loading bar.
