what address would i try connecting too if im behind a router and the person im trying to connect to is behind a router?

his internal ip address. but you have to check which port you are connecting to him on, and tell him to configure his router to allow traffic through that port. All routers are essentially firewalls, so they must be told to allow trafic, but its not as easy as windows firewall with those annoying pop ups "allow" or "disallow".

apparently you're a hacker, so is you're question some kind of joke?
