PostPosted: Thu Oct 20, 2005 9:16 pm   Post subject: SERVER CHAGE STARTING TOMORE!!!!!

I will be starting the server chage over tomore (21st of Oct). This means that there could be roll backs spaning from tomore to when the new server is up. Also there will be site down times. All emails will be deleted if not backed up and i will have to contact all the owners of compsci.ca e-mail and hosting since all passwords most be reset. It whould help if you have such to contact me with the new password you whould like. If all goses right the server chage over will be done by the end of this week end and no one should see any difrence.

other than faster load, and less downtime in the future.

afterall, that is why we're changing the host (again). I wonder who here remembers the days when compsci was hosted from Dan's own computer Laughing

Server Chage is 1/2 way done, right now the data base is on the new server and the scripts and files are being run off of this one. So this should give the users more time b4 the chage..........

All passwords most be reset, you can use your old password if u like but you have to tell me what it is. This also gose for any one with web space or an ftp acount.

This is most destrbing............

Edit: I think it was just a glitch in the system. Since the data bases is being hit with alot of comands right now it could have just jumped or somthing. That or he is time travling in witch case we are all screwed.

Edit 2: testing 1 2 3
