I was just wondering if I needed to use frames to get images to work. Just rying to decide what I should start learning next and since I want to eventualy get to animation I was wondering if I needed to learn Frames before I go onto images. Also do images need to be in applets or can it run in the dos promet thing? Thx |

not trying to annoy anyone but an answer would really help me out. A simple yes or no to wether I need frames to display images would be fine. thx |

Yes, you need a container of some kind to put an image in. And standard output doesn't deal with graphics. |

I don't know much about this, but you can run graphics on both an applet, or on the dos prompt, which will then pop up a window with the graphics. I don't know how to go about doing this though, and to make an application that does this you might need to know about frames... |
