Anyone know of any good freeware mp3 editors that can change the bitrate of an mp3? 4Musics Mp3 Bitrate Changer is the best one I've found so far however its a trial version and I have to wait 5 seconds after each song is converted then click continue. With 1 song its ok but with many its very tedious... |

Audacity is great for things like that, and it's free. |

Another vote for Audacity, plus it's open source which is a big plus in my book  |

yep. I asked a while ago, and ended up getting audacity.
You need to download another file for the mp3 export to work, but that should take you less than 5 minutes total. |
