i was having some trouble with text fields and text boxes, so i decided to email tom west and ask him about it. turns out, there is no bug at all...
as most turing programmers know, when you have a GUI textbox and GUI textfield on the screen at the same time, the program crashes when a keystroke is pressed. but if we place the text box before the text field, the program will not crash, there is however, a bug with the textbox crashing when a key is pressed, but that's fixable too, simply place a textfield off the screen. yep that's all |
