I'll add more later. I've a bio test to study for now.

code:

x = (x*(f-1))+m)/f

x - current position
m - new position
f - easing factor

Instead of just jumping to where you want to go, why not slide gracefully?

Hmm, this looks good, I've been looking for things like this, I've been going about these things long and difficult ways.

whats ease factor mean? Friction?

i suppose it is friction, but in a less scientific sense.

i.e. you already know where you want to stop, and you calculate the distance from there.

as opposed to having a coeff of friction and a vector.

imagine one of those automatic opening sliding doors.

you know exactly how far its going to open. But as it opens, it slows down.

Thats what this formula does.
