Well we need them to keep our encoemny going, but speaking perualy of what we need to keep every one alive and the conotry runing we could last along time with out them, tho on the other hand they whould be screwed with out side raw materals.

Would we want to? Definately.

The United States provides a number of things for us, namely protection. See, one of the interesting things about National Defense is that you can't exclude people who don't pay for the most part.

The US is like 'Hey, we want to build a missile shield, but it would make way more sense if we built it on your soil.'

So Canada says 'Go for it buddy, we've got tons of extra land'

So now the US is like 'You're going to help us pay for it right, since we are after all defending you as well?'

To which Canada responds 'No can do.'

Now, the US (in their minds at least) needs this missile defense shield, and there's nothing that they can do to force Canada to pay for it, and, by default, they are forced to protect Canada with it.

I can totally see them being pissed off. Tough luck though buddies Wink

And as for taking Canada over: don't make us burn the White House down again.
