Well, I have been using MSN search lately and... I find that it gives me better results then google XD Plus its desecriptions (I find) are better.
What do you guys think?
I think it could probably reach up with google soon.
[ Im sure a topic has already been made about MSN Search when it came out as a beta, but now with a poll (Plus I don't like bringing up old topics, and I couldn't find the old one anyhow...) ] |

it looks more simple adn easy, MSN is full of ads and pics, too fancy

I ran some Comp-Sci related words through both engines, and here are the results:
MSN Search: 1-10 of 97,215,706 containing java (0.23 seconds)
Google: Results 1 - 10 of about 150,000,000 for java [definition]. (0.04 seconds)
MSN Search: 1-9 of 98,559,496 containing linux (0.16 seconds)
Google: Results 1 - 10 of about 222,000,000 for linux [definition]. (0.07 seconds)
MSN Search: 1-9 of 42,915,606 containing microsoft windows xp (0.20 seconds)
Google: Results 1 - 10 of about 14,300,000 for microsoft windows xp [definition]. (0.11 seconds)
So, as you can see, Google not only gets far more results overall, but also does it up to five times as fast. The only search key that MSN Search beat Google out on was "microsoft windows xp" ... hmm... big surprise...  |

| Very scientific of you , Hikaru79. Just out of curiosity I typed "operating system" into MSN search, and it was nice to see that the first hit was for Yoper. |

I find MSN search a bit unwieldly. It looks like a google clone.
As for search results: google works, and I like google as a company, so I choose to support them. |
