Okay, with this, my anti-anti-microsoft campaign comes to a close. Microsoft is a hard place to work for, on one hand, I'd love to not bash them, but on the other hand, THEY MAKE THIS JOB SO F*CKING DIFFICULT!

all this time i thought you were joking martin
oh, and welcome back!
this article sounds eerily similar to the book "Digital Fortress"by Dan Brown
the NSA tried to make a "backdoor" in a universal encryption algorithm that only highly trained and paid programmers knew about but eventually, some "normal" person figures it out and well, this pretty much happened ... ![Thinking Thinking](images/smiles/eusa_think.gif) |

Nah, I've been using Linux and Firefox this whole time, I just thought that Microsoft needed a helping hand. Apparently they don't want it. |

When will peoleop lrean that windows and other M$ products like IE are a secuity hole in them self. Also since they baslicly bulit IE in to windows it means any secuity hole in IE is one in your OS. Some times i whonder if they check the secuity on there stuff at all b4 they ship it. I mean if they toke some of the ideas form unix for secuity they could be fixing alot of thess problems. the reason why there are so few unix/linux virus is not just b/c it is less popular but b/c it is alot harder to do (not imposabl tho). Also if they made there stuff open sorce thess issues could be found and fixed sooner. also whould force M$ to fix them right away them selves and make good code. |
