maybe the title should be turing <--> holt java or RTP java... but certainly not turing <--> java
lol they use that console class for almost everything |

Granted, but at least it can be used as a half decent reference for basic syntax (conditionals, loops, methods, etc.).
Of course, this requires that those teaching computer science put a very strong emphasis on the difference between a language, and the libraries used with it, even if those libraries are standard. |

The guide is a great way to get comfortable using JAVA without having a deep understanding of objects and classes....
It does require HOLT software's Console class. You can buy it along with a really user-friendly IDE for about 25 bucks. I highly recommend it.
I have a "HSA Java <----> Core Java" Guide completed in the same format. I'll post the URL for it next time.
