You forgot the [Instrumental] part.
Actually, I did but I decided to take it out because I felt it was pretty clear there would be an instrumental part and not realizing it isn't my fault.

It is shoot. It's a little joke on the good ol' Zelda on NES where if you got Link to full hearts he would 'shoot' some odd energy from his sword...
Oh, I know all about the "laser" sword from A Link to the Past, trust me. And you know, I had this huge response to this about why I believe it is (or at least should be) "charge." I had references, whole structured paragraphs and everything. Then Internet Explorer crashed. Twice. So to save myself the trouble I'll just say that I'll keep saying "charge" until I'm dead. Or until Miyamoto himself tells me it should be "shoot." Whichever.
As for artists/composers (we've already strayed a bit from whole bands), I'd like to include:
Kazuki Muraoka - for his work on the Metal Gear Solid score.
Rika Muranaka - for the ending music to Metal Gear Solid.
Koji Kondo - for the music to the Legend of Zelda.
Toshiro Masuda - for the cool Naruto music.
Ganasia - for the Rockman8 Jpop (and others, I'm sure).
John Williams - I don't think this one needs an explanation.
