Uhh.. I dont know why but when i run it nothing shows up. I click the close button and then i can see some text. It seems like the screen will only update if I click exit. Weird...

it's not just u "Neo" the screen is blank and only when i click exit it will show up. i had the same problem with the program i've been making once. my teacher fixed it but i can't remember how. if i remember i'll post it and tell u why thats happening. very wierd. Rolling Eyes

the problem is this. in that program, it has this code on top

code:
setscreen ("offscreenonly")

so everything is drawn not on screen, but on a buffer that doesnt display, so if you dont click anything, it wont show up anything. only reason for me to see it cuz i was tracing the program and i click back and forth and made it update the screen. way to fix it is to put this following code at where u want screen to change (yes that means at least 50 more lines)

code:
View.Update
