it seems to work for few select people...
funny thing is you can make "chains" such as if A can't talk to B, but can talk to C; and B can talk to C. Then C can start a 3way chat with A and B so they can talk to each other... messed up stuff

hm... experimentation:
3 way conversation, as soon as the third person comes in, the second person is kicked, but you can talk to the third person. 3 way convo with a person whose msn is working fine, you can have a normal multi-person conversation.

No, I do understand. I just loaded gentoo and logged in eight times consecutably on AMSN and didn't get any problems.
NOTE: I'm also logged in perfectly fine using Trillian Pro' on Windows. Seems to me that people using the official --and a handful of un-official-- clients are getting this error. They might have changed the protocol on the servers slightly to accomodate their new client release, and this is causing some problems for the uncompatible clients?
