lol. I guess this would fall into the "Other Basics" category. Anyone have a TI 83 Plus graphing calculator? I wrote an RPG on mine today during Algebra. And I'm working on a Pong game. Until like 2 weeks ago I didn't even realize you could program in Basic on them, I thought it was all assembly.

But if anyone's interested I'll write some tutorials. Razz It's a great way to pass some time during class.

If the TI-83+ manual is anything like the TI-82 manual, then chapter 13 contains everything one could ever want to know about TI-BASIC. Smile

heh, wtd Rolling Eyes

anyways - some tutorials will be awesome. I used to write problem solvers for repetetive tasks (mostly in Math... naturally) and complete my homework with a snap.

unfortunatly my teacher didn't appretiate my ability to boil a problem type down to a function Confused

Then your teacher was a moron. Breaking things down into functions is kinda what math is about.

TI_BASIC has built-in abilities to se and unset individual pixels. It's tedious, but it gives you complete control over the display.

If I'm not mistaken the TI-89 marked a shift from 8-bit Z80 processors to a 32-bit Dragonball from Motorola. Such hips earned their renown as coprocessors in Apple's early Macs.
