Cool. 8) This makes up for not being able to link directly to your inbox from MSN. (If you use your gmail account for msn that is.) |

Ya, when you logon, if you have it set to remeber your password, click "Sign in as someone else." If you don't have it remember your password, just lick "Sign In". Then in the corner of that box, there's a link that says "Get a .Net Passport" click that, register for it with your gmail account, and you can use MSN the same as you would with hotmail, but without it!
The only downside of doing this is not being alerted when you receive emails, or having a direct link to your inbox. BUT thanks to this Gmail Notifier, that's no longer a problem! And it's even more convenient than MSN, and opens in Firefox! |

Actually you have to confirm your account first. Go to File > Confirm Account. (Or something like that.) Then they'll send a message to your gmail account, open it, click the link, confirm that it's you. And log in to MSN again. Then you can change your name. |
