A piece from some odd soft-to-the-touch puzzle thing, in which one had 9 in a set, all of the oddest shapes (similar to the avatar), which one would then piece together to create a cube.
There were several sets, and if one had more than one set, one would be able to join the cubes together to create more complex shapes, like a block, or a...umm...cube-with-cubes-the-same-size-as-it-protruding-from-each-face.
Each face/piece had a different face - some were angry (like avatar), some smiling, some Razz ing, etc etc...sorta like a bunch of emoticons...just on foam.

I had one when I was younger. Thought it looked familiar.

Look at this...the similarity is uncanny:
meninhats.com

Catalyst, you insist to pull me down..you contradict the fact that you still want me around; and it's all downhill from here.
