|
|
I donno about you guys, but my dream job would defenatly be a game programmer for Blizzard. And crap, if only I had my degree already I'll apply there right now... especially since the position just opened
http://www.blizzard.com/jobopp/bn-programmer.shtml
It is still interesting to look at requirements and adjust your goals. Take a look if you're into game programming.
Also I think they're hinting on the fact that their next project would be an RPG. Diablo III I assume since job is posted by Blizzard North (creators of Diablo series..) Or perhaps a brand new RPG... even better |

You get to work on some awesome games. The overall quality of Blizzard games is amazing and they're very well balanced in 1.0 release, so you dont have to wait for a patch to actually be able to play the game.
They have a very nice working environment and just the company's reputation alone... Say you're working for Blizzard - you look cool right away. Say you work for M$... well... you might get your ass kicked just for that. |

Also, if I were to work at Blizzard the first thing I would do is find out what messages the cows are mooing. its gota be some brainwashing shit that keeps people playing. |

the only reason Diablo II economy is screwed up is because of all the hackers who dupe stuff (make copies). I hope that would not be an issue with WoW when that comes out.
