as topic, you're only allowed to use "basic" math symbols, including +,-,*,/, and brackets

eg: 1+2*3+4=11

*13+46=59 IS NOT ALLOWED

don't the numbers have to be in the order of which they first appeared?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't...

I've been playing the 24 game for quite some times. Namely because my Chinese translator has that on it (and tetris, the 2 games I play on it), and when I get bored or whatever, I just play that.

no, you have 4 numbers, and you try to make 24 out of it. Usually you play this with a deck of cards. like you draw 4 cards, and then try to make 24 according to the face value of those cards.

((sqrt (5 * 5)) * 5) - 1

hehehe, sorry Cervantes, notice the rule, only basic math operators, namely, the +, -, * and / could be used. No square root, no power, no log, no sin, cos, tan, blah blah blah.
