Eurgh, was that horrible.

Since this is the first year Euclid and Descartes have been merged, I expected an increase in difficulty...

I didn't finish the last 2 questions. I'm thinking around 82-85 marks for me.

but I did get a first place medal for Fermata 8) and the usual top 25% in Canada ofcouse Very Happy

i took a math contest today too. Hypatia. it only had for questions on it. The first two were extremely easy, the forth one was tougher, and the third was the worst. Even our math teacher didn't know how to do it without using calculus (we haven't learned calculus yet).

are these contests like at your school our held by a city and you have to be invited or just go?

They're held at the school for anyone who wants to participate. I'll see if I can get a copy of the questions, but I won't be able to until Tuesday.

Thank you. I was thinking of posting the Euclid questions, but apparently they have a clause on the test paper against unauthorised copying. I can't be bothered to paraphrase it.
