Are the Simpson's original? Were they ever original?
Many of their ideas are taken from something else. I'm not saying that's bad, just commenting.
Post episodes that you think are taken from something else or post episodes that you think are original and we'll see if they are or not!

I'll start.

The Hamlet Episode. Well there's a no brainer: its based on Hamlet! Razz

ill just say that i don't watcht the simpsons, i don't laugh at it, i just sit and think about something else, but i find that their episodes are just episodes based around real people making fun of those people, which most of the time is not funny. oh yeah, and i hate bart's voice, hes gonna die some time

I find the simpsons to be sometimes unorigal, but never boraing.. Very Happy
Sure some episodes aren't origal, but some also were, and the mind mumming pointless neess is what makes me like the slap stick hummer. Very Happy

Ive stopped watching the Simpsons awhile ago. Sure ill watch it if nothing else is on, but it is kind of boring. I like Family Guy much better, may not get tons of points in originality, but sure does crack me up

Family Guy is the best show ever along with Seinfeld. But wow you guys suck. Who doesnt like the simpsons geez. Of course some stuff is unorignal but so is almost ever show but alot of stuff is original and almost always hilarious. ie. Homer becoming a hobo.

I don't watch the simpsons anymore either. I wonder if its just intended for younger / less mature audiences.

Family guy is indeed awesome Smile

Paul, what episodes are original. you may think they are original, but maybe its based on a book that you've never read that someone here has and can point that out. Smile
