| i do not understand how to put an avatar beside my username. what if there is more then one pic on the page I type the URl of? how do I choose which one I want? |

Err.. first off you got to your profile
Then where it says Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to. (scroll down) put your URL to your image there (in the textbox beside it) |

I did that but it didn't show up. What if there is more then one pic on the page of the URL I want the pic to come from. Does it need to be a page with jsut a pick???
I know I sound like an idiot but i am having trouble figuring this out. |

let me clarify. URL of the IMAGE. Meaning a direct link to the file that ends in .gif or .jpg |

actually, if you right click it and look at properties, its an upload... and when you copy that into adress bar "you are not authorized to view or download this upload" lol ;p
