| you can open it in ps , and save it as a different extension , and if your to lazy you can even do it in paint which would open faster but give you a worse quality pictuer when you save it , |

I tried to do that, but it wuldnt let me to change it to anything but bmp. |

best thing to do would be go
file --> Save for Web
that lets you do all kinds of useful stuff |
